About West Side Renovators

West Side Renovators is a professional painting, carpentry and home renovation company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our company was established in 1985 and owned by Walter Heine and Dennis Mansfield.

Walter Heine first started painting with his Uncle Rudolph Bambach as a summer job during High School. He continued painting after High School on a fulltime basis and started his own Business in 1973 called Walter Heine Painting & Decorating. In 1978 Walt went back to school and took some classes in contruction managment & estimating. He also went to woodworking and cabinetmaking classes at U.C. In 1980 he started doing various jobs renovating homes for individuals, and for the City of Cincinnati Urban Homestead Program. Currently, Walter also builds custom guitars and teaches acoustic guitar making classes under the name of Haley Rose Guitars.

Dennis Mansfield grew up in a family painting business and has been painting professionally since 1973. He is experienced in all phases of painting and home renovation including residential, commercial and industrial.

Since the partnership began they have been working on projects for local Builders Management companies and private individuals.

West Side Renovators are fully insured and will provide copies of State Compensation and Business liability insurance upon request.
